The 2020 NBA Three-Point Contest was held on February 16, 2020, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. This was the first time the event was held during All-Star Weekend.
Kyrie Irving goes back-to-back in the Three-Point Contest, defeating Stephen Curry in the final round. He is the first player to win the event in consecutive years since Jason Kapono did it in 2007 and 2008.

Kyrie Irving, who recently won his first NBA championship with the Boston Celtics, took home the 2020 NBA Three-Point Contest trophy on Saturday night.
The 27-year-old guard outdueled Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns in the final round, making 19 of his 25 shots, including five in a row at one point. Booker finished with 18 points.
It was Irving’s first time participating in the event and he became the fifth player to win it in his debut, joining Mark Price (1986), Craig Hodges (1988), Steve Kerr (1996) and Jason Kapono (2007).
Irving also become the fourth Celtics player to win the contest, joining Hodges, Danny Ainge and Paul Pierce.
Buddy Hield became the NBA’s all-time leader in made three-pointers in a season, and the first player in league history to make at least 250 three-pointers in a season. He did it by splashing nine three-pointers in the final round of the Three-Point Contest, topping rival Steph Curry.
Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield finished second in the 2020 NBA Three-Point Contest.
Hield finished the contest with 26 points, behind only winner Devonte’ Graham of the Charlotte Hornets.
Duncan Robinson won the 2020 NBA three-point contest. Robinson is a Miami Heat player. He beat out Davis Bertans of the Washington Wizards and Devonte’ Graham of the Charlotte Hornets in the final round.

Robinson, who was one of eight participants in the contest, shot 20-for-25 from the three-point line in the final round to finish behind only Bryn Forbes of the San Antonio Spurs (22 points) and Joe Harris of the Brooklyn Nets (24 points).
