In 2017, Davis became a free agent and signed with the Milwaukee Brewers He played for the Brewers’ Triple-A affiliate, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox before being called up to the majors on August 16, 2017. Davis was outrighted to Triple-A on November 20, 2017.

On February 7, 2018, Davis signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs He was released on March 26, 2018.

On March 28, 2018, Davis signed a Minor League contract with the Baltimore Orioles He was released on April 2, 2018.

Davis was drafted by the Yankees in 2014 and made his Major League debut in 2016. He played in 27 games for the Yankees that year, batting .271 with one home run and four RBIs. He also appeared in five Playoff Games including two starts in the ALDS against the Cleveland Indians In 2017, Davis played in 43 games for the Yankees, batting .267 with four home runs and nine RBIs. He also appeared in two playoff games.

Taylor Davis made his Major League debut with the New York Mets in 2018. Davis played in four games with the Mets, recording two hits in eight at-bats. He was then traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers where he spend the rest of the 2018 season. In 2019, Davis split time between the Dodgers and their Triple-A affiliate, the Oklahoma City Dodgers He appeared in 14 games for the Dodgers, batting .175 with one home run and two RBIs.

Davis’ Time with the Red Sox

In 2017, Davis was traded to the Boston Red Sox He played for the Pawtucket Red Sox the team’s Triple-A affiliate, before being called up to the Major League roster on August 24, 2017. He made his debut the following day, appearing as a pinch hitter and striking out against Chris Devenski of the Houston Astros Davis appeared in three games for the Red Sox in 2017, going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.

Davis’ Return to the Yankees
