Sorry for Party Rocking: The Music Video

The Sorry for Party Rocking music video features LMFAO living it up in various locales and dancing with some eye-catching ladies.

The song

The song “Sorry for Party Rocking” was released as a single by American rapper Redfoo of the duo LMFAO. The song is taken from the duo’s second studio album of the same name. The song peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States and number six in Canada.

The music video

The music video for “Sorry for Party Rocking” was directed by Isaac Rentz and features the group performing in various locations around Los Angeles. The video also includes cameos from SkyBlu’s grandfather, RedFoo’s cousin Joel Maddison, and singer Natalia Kills.

The making of the music video

Lmfao’s “Sorry for Party Rocking” music video was shot in Las Vegas and features the group performing in a number of quirky locations, including a wedding chapel, a strip club, and a fast food restaurant.

The video was directed by Mickey Finnegan and produced by Off Set Film & TV. Finnegan also directed the group’s previous videos for “Party Rock Anthem” and “Shots.”

The video begins with Redfoo and SkyBlu waking up hungover after a night of partying. They are then shown getting ready for their day, which includes going to the chapel to get married (but not before stopping at a fast food restaurant first).

After getting married, the group heads to a strip club, where they perform for the largely unimpressed patrons. They then leave the club and head to another party, where they are once again the life of the party.

The video ends with Redfoo and SkyBlu waking up hungover once again, this time with their new spouses.

The choreography

The choreography was executed by the Party Rock Crew. Christopher Scott, responsible for much of the group’s previous work, served as the creative director and primary choreographer. Tightly coordinated moves were performed throughout the video, with various characters assuming leadership at different points. The routine included mainstays of LMFAO’s live performances such as the “Shuffle Bot”, in which robots shuffle across the stage, and the “Champagne Showers”.

The costumes

In the music video for “Sorry for Party Rocking”, the members of LMFAO can be seen wearing a variety of costumes throughout. The most notable costume is the one worn by Redfoo, which consists of a furry blue onesie with an attached tail. This costume is meant to represent a character known as “Party Rock Penguin”. Other costumes worn in the video include those of a unicorn, devil, and chicken.

The set

The set was simple: a soundstage with a few strobe lights and a disco ball. The camera never left the stage, which was just big enough for the six dancers. The lack of props forced the viewer to focus on the dancers, who were all costumed in black leather jackets, pants, and boots.

The cast

In the video, some of the most popular young social media celebrities and Vine stars are featured as the main characters. The video opens with a woman walking down a city street at night. She sees a group of people gathered around a building and walks over to them. The woman, played by actress Liane Balaban, is then pulled into the building by the partygoers.

The group that brought us the inescapable “Party Rock Anthem” is back with a new album and a new tour. But who are these guys? Let’s find out a little more about the breakout electro-hop group LMFAO.

LMFAO is made up of Sky Blu (full name: Skyler Husten Gordy) and his uncle Redfoo (full name: Stefan Kendal Gordy). The duo started making music together in 2006, but it wasn’t until 2009 that they released their first album, Party Rock. The album was a success, but it was the single “Party Rock Anthem” that really put them on the map. The song was an international hit, reaching #1 in several countries, and the accompanying music video has been viewed over a billion times on YouTube.

Besides being talented musicians, Sky Blu and Redfoo are known for their outrageous fashion sense. They are often seen sporting colorful clothes and outrageous hairstyles, and they are never afraid to take style risks. Their unique fashion sense has earned them a lot of attention from the fashion industry, and they have even been featured in magazines like Vogue.

LMFAO is currently working on their second album, due out later this year. In the meantime, you can catch them on their “Sorry for Party Rocking” tour, which kicks off in May.

The reception

The Sorry for Party Rocking music video was released in 2011 and was met with mixed reviews. Some people loved the video, while others thought it was too over-the-top and notboring. The main criticism seemed to be that the video didn’t really seem to fit the song, which is a party anthem. The video is set in a post-apocalyptic world where there are no rules and everyone just parties all the time. It features cameos from Lil Jon, Sky Blu, and Redfoo of LMFAO.

The legacy

The party rocking music video from LMFAO has become a bit of a cult classic among millennials. The dance moves, the bright colors, the catchy song… it’s all just so addicting. Even though the group disbanded in 2012, the music video still lives on and is referenced often in popular culture.
