From Small Town to Big League

As a Young Boy growing up in a small town in Nebraska, Ryan Jensen never dreamed that one day he would be playing Professional Baseball But that’s exactly what happened.

Jensen began playing baseball at an early age, and it quickly became his passion. He worked hard to improve his skills, and by the time he was in High School he was one of the best players in the state. His dream of playing professionally began to seem like a real possibility.

After graduating from high school Jensen was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles He spent several years working his way up through the Minor Leagues before finally making his Major League debut in 2018.

Since then, Jensen has been a key member of the Orioles’ pitching staff. He has appeared in over 100 games for the team, and he has helped them to reach the playoffs three times.

Jensen’s story is an inspiring one, and it serves as a reminder that anything is possible if you’re willing to work for it.

The Making of a Ballplayer

Ryan Jensen had always dreamed of playing professional baseball Growing up in San Diego he played in little league and then travel ball before eventually being drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2012 MLB Draft

Jensen worked his way through the Orioles’ farm system spending time with the Aberdeen IronBirds, Bowie Bay Sox, and Frederick Keys before finally getting his shot at the big leagues in 2019.

Though he didn’t have a lengthy career in the majors, Jensen made the most of his time, appearing in 47 games and hitting .257 with 2 home runs and 9 RBI.

Jensen’s story is one of perseverance and determination, proving that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

The Road to the Majors

Baseball has been a part of Ryan Jensen’s life since he was a Young Boy He played Little League and then on to travel ball, high school ball, college ball, and finally the minor leagues. Of all the steps along the way, getting called up to play in the majors was by far the most exciting.

Jensen had always dreamed of playing in the big leagues but he never imagined that it would actually happen. When he got the call from his minor league team he was ecstatic. He packed his bags and headed to the city where his new team was based.

Now that he’s finally made it to the majors, Jensen is looking to make the most of his opportunity. He knows that he has to work hard and stay focused if he wants to stick around in the big leagues. He’s determined to show everyone that he belongs on this stage.

The Big Leagues

In 2012, Ryan Jensen was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. He made his Major League debut with the Orioles on September 1, 2015. Life as a Big Leaguer

Most of us will never know what it’s like to play professional baseball let alone be good enough to play in the Major Leagues Ryan Jensen is a Big League pitcher who has played for the Tampa Bay Rays Baltimore Orioles and San Diego Padres He’s currently a free agent I had a chance to sit down with Ryan and talk about his career and what it’s like to be a professional baseball player

Jensen was drafted by the Rays in 2010 and made his Major League debut in 2013. He was traded to the Orioles in 2014 and then to the Padres in 2016. He’s pitched in relief and as a starter, but he’s mostly been used as a middle reliever. In 2017, he had his best season, pitching to a 2.48 ERA in 73 innings.

I asked Jensen about the biggest difference between theMinor Leagues and the Majors. “The thing that stands out the most is the level of competition, plainly and simply,” he told me. “Every pitch counts so much more. The hitters are more patient, they don’t chase as many bad pitches, they can all hit mistakes really hard… And on top of that, they have better approaches at the plate overall. They know what they want to do up there before they even get in the box most of the time. It’s tough!”

Jensen is originally from Idaho Falls Idaho, but he now lives in Arizona with his wife Lacey and their two young daughters. I asked him what it was like being away from his family for six months out of the year while he was playing baseball “It definitely takes some getting used to at first, but you just have to trust that your family can handle things back home while you’re gone,” he said

The Future

As Ryan Jensen prepares for the upcoming baseball season he can’t help but think about the future. After all, he’s only a sophomore in high school But he knows that if he wants to achieve his dream of playing professional baseball he has to put in the hard work now.

That’s why Ryan spends hours every day practicing his pitching and batting. He knows that if he can improve his skills, he’ll have a better chance of making it to the big leagues.

And Ryan isn’t just thinking about himself. He also wants to help his team win a state championship He knows that if they can do that, it would be a huge accomplishment—not just for him, but for his entire community.
