“Our goal is to win the Conference Championship ” said senior captain Jake Redlinger. “We have the talent and depth to do it, we just have to go out and execute on the field.”
The team will be led by first-year head coach John Lambert, who comes to Otterbein from Wright State University Lambert inherits a squad that includes eight returning starters and several key contributors from last year’s team.
“We are expecting big things from this group,” Lambert said. “They have worked extremely hard in the offseason and they are ready to take their game to the next level.”
The Cardinals will open the 2020 season on February 15 with a three-game series at home against Franciscan University
