How to Convert Music to Hip Hop

Music conversion is the process of taking one type of music and making it into another.

Decide on the tempo

The first thing you need to do when you want to convert music to hip hop is to decide on the tempo. This will determine how fast or slow your beat will be. You can usually find the tempo in beats per minute (BPM) on the track’s information panel.

A slower tempo will be 60-90 BPM, while a faster tempo will be 140-180 BPM. If you’re not sure what tempo to choose, start with a slower one and work your way up. Once you’ve chosen your tempo, it’s time to start layering some tracks!

Choose the right instruments

If you want your music to have a hip hop feel, you need to choose the right instruments. Drums are the most important part of hip hop, so make sure you have a good drum machine or sampler. You’ll also need a bass guitar or synthesizer to create the low, thumping sound that is characteristic of hip hop. A lead guitar or keyboard can add some flavor to your tracks, but they are not essential.

Find the right samples

If you want your music to sound like hip hop, you need to find the right samples. There are a few ways to do this. You can either buy a sample pack, search for free samples online, or create your own samples.

Once you have your samples, you need to load them into your music software. If you’re not sure how to do this, consult the manual for your software or look for a tutorial online.

Now that your samples are loaded into your software, it’s time to start creating your hip hop track. Start by adding a drumbeat. Then, add some bass and other instruments. And finally, add some vocals.

Create the perfect beat

Converting music to hip hop can be a fun and rewarding experience. By following a few simple steps, you can create a beat that is sure to get your feet moving.

First, you will need to choose the right type of music to convert. If you are unsure of what type of music to choose, try looking for tracks that have a strong rhythm section. This will help to ensure that your beat is catchy and easy to follow. Once you have found the perfect track, it is time to get started on creating your beat.

Next, you will need to identify the tempo of the track. This can be done by using a metronome or by counting the beats per minute (bpm). Once you have the tempo, you can begin creating your beat by layering different sounds on top of the track. For example, you may want to add a kick drum on the first and third beats, and a snare drum on the second and fourth beats. You can also add other elements such as hi-hats, percussion, and synthesizers to create a more complex sound.

Once you have created your beat, it is time to add some vocals. This can be done by rhyming over the track or by creating hooks that will catch the listener’s attention. Be sure to practice your vocals before recording them so that they sound natural and flows with the beat.

Now that you have created the perfect beat, it is time to share it with the world!
